The first ever PUBG Mobile India Series has finally come to an end with team Soul coming out on top of the tournament. The finals were held at the GMC Balayogi Indoor Stadium in Hyderabad on March 10 where the winning team won a cash prize money of Rs 30 lakh along with a brand new Oppo F11 Pro handset. The finals went on from 11 am to 7 pm where 20 team locked horns with each other in five matches with team Soul coming out on top.
The winning team comprises of four members including Soul Mortal, Soul Owais, Soul Ronak, and Soul Viper.
The first match took place in TPP Erangel, second match in TPP Sanhok, Third match in FPP Erangel, fourth match in FPP Sanhok and the final match in TPP Erangel.
Team Soul clinched the tournament with 2520 points and 46 kills, God’s reign came second with 2330 points and 39 kills and Funky Monkey came third with 1710 points and 23 kills.
Talking about the singles prizes, the ‘Most Valuable Player’ or MVP award was won by KK from team God’s Reign, Soul Ronak won the title of Rampage Freak for achieving maximum kills in one lobby.
Apart from the winner prizes, all the 80 finalists from the 20 teams were awarded a brand new Oppo F11 Pro smartphone.
The PUBG India Mobile Series saw nearly 575,000 registrations and almost 400,000 games were played in the tournament.
The top 20 teams which participated in the finals include S0UL, The Dreamers, Oxygen Alpha, RIP Official, Team INF, BSUD, Team 2EZ4, ARROW, Backfromseverny, THE_PUNISHERS, Maximus Alpha, IMT_Immortals, No Mercy, SL4Y, Gods Reign, Team FireFrost, NSD_, THE BEAST SQUAD, SQUAD99 and Funky Monkey. The registrations for the PUBG tournament began from January 10 and ended on January 23rd which was opened just after the launch of the fifth season.
