PUBG Mobile India Series 2019: THESE teams to battle it out in the finals on March 10

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds or PUBG announced a tournament titled PUBG Mobile India Series 2019 which commenced on January 21 with the Qualifier round. Now, the competition has reached to the final stage where top 20 teams will lock horn on March 10 to win the coveted title and the prize money. The event will be held at GMC Balayogi Indoor Stadium in Hyderabad.

The PUBG India Mobile Series saw nearly 575,000 registrations and almost 400,000 games were played in the tournament. Now, after the Qualifier and the Playoffs round, top 20 teams are left to face other in the Finals to be held on March 10.

The top 20 teams to participate in the finals include S0UL, The Dreamers, Oxygen Alpha, RIP Official, Team INF, BSUD, Team 2EZ4, ARROW, Backfromseverny, THE_PUNISHERS, Maximus Alpha, IMT_Immortals, No Mercy, SL4Y, Gods Reign, Team FireFrost, NSD_, THE BEAST SQUAD, SQUAD99 and Funky Monkey. The registrations for the PUBG tournament began from January 10 and ended on January 23rd which was opened just after the launch of the fifth season.

The tournament had already seen more than 250,000 registrations in just two weeks window from over 1000 colleges across 30 cities.

Meanwhile, the tournament received more than 575,000 registrations in total which clearly show that despite being banned from several places in India, the popularity of the game is still intact.

The total prize money for the PUBG Mobile India Series 2019 is Rs 1 crore where the winning team will bag Rs 30 lakh, Rs 10 lakh for the runner-up and Rs 5 lakh for the second runner-up. The top 10 team will also get cash prizes and along with some individual awards for players who will receive Rs 50,000 each.

MVP Award – Awarded to the player with maximum number of MVP

The Exterminators – Awarded to the team with maximum kills

The Healers – Awarded to the team with the highest number of revives

The Redeemer – Awarded to the player with the highest amount of health restored

The Lone Ranger – Awarded to the player with the maximum survival time

The Rampage Freak – Awarded to the player for the maximum number of kills in one game.
