Realme X Spider-Man edition to make debut on July 15 in India: Key specification inside

Realme X has become one of the most anticipated smartphones in India. The Realme X Spider-Man edition is all set to make its debut in India on July 15, 2019.

It is to be noted that the company has already showcased its Realme X Spider-Man edition for India ahead of the release of Spider-Man: Far From Home. The smartphone was launched on May 15 at an event in China, and Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth had hinted that it was going to be priced around Rs 18,000-mark. In China, the Realme X Spiderman Edition is available in a single variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage at a price of 1,799 Tuan (approx. Rs 18,063) in China.

Realme X Spiderman edition is equipped with an exclusive themed UI inspired by Spider-Man. The phone also includes a customized wallpaper and icon pack. Further, the special Realme X Spider-Man: Far From Home gift box also includes a Spider-Man themed phone case, charger and a device.

Realme X: Specification

The Realme X is equipped with a 6.53-inch full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) AMOLED screen with 19.5:9 aspect ratio, 91.2 percent screen-to-body ratio. It also features Gorilla Glass 5 protection and have an in-display fingerprint sensor for authentication. The dimensions of the handset is 161.2x76.9x9.4mm and it weighs 191 grams.

The Realme X is powered by a Snapdragon 710 SoC chipset clocked at 2.2GHz and comes in a total of three variants with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The smartphone runs Android 9 Pie with ColorOS 6.0.

Coming to the optics, the Realme X packs a 48-megapixel primary camera with f/1.7 aperture that is accompanied by a 5-megapixel secondary sensor with an f/2.4 lens. Also, there is a 16-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture on the front.

Other features Realme X nclude a USB Type-C port, Dolby Atmos support, 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5, GPS.

On the competition front, the Realme X will be up against Redmi K20 in the Indian market after the launch.
