Sony India has announced a price drop of its popular gaming consoles and accessories after the announcement of reduction in GST rates. Recently, the GST council announced reduction in tax rates on 23 consumer electronics which includes TVs, monitors, power banks, gaming consoles, and various other such electronic items. After reduction in tax rates, Sony India announced slash in prices of both PlayStation 4 Slim and PlayStation 4 Pro, applicable to both 500 GB and 1TB variant. It also includes its accessories such as DualShock 4 controller, PlayStation 4 Aim Controller, PlayStation 4 Platinum Wireless Headset, PlayStation 4 Wireless Stereo Headset, PlayStation 4 vertical stand, and the PlayStation 4 Twin Pack.
It means PlayStation 4 Slim 500 GB which was earlier available for Rs 30,990, now game lovers can purchase it for just Rs 28,580 while the 1 TB variant is available for Rs 33,650.

After a discount of Rs 3,280, PlayStation 4 Pro 1TB is available for sale for Rs 38,710 which was earlier priced at Rs 41,990.
However, these prices can even be more discounted on some of the popular e-commerce websites. For example, Sony PlayStation 4 500 GB Black is available for just Rs 26,890 which is currently out of stock.
