Chinese smartphone maker Vivo has launched its latest handset Vivo V15 Pro in India. The launch event was held in the national capital. The Vivo V15 Pro key highlights include its 32MP pop-up selfie camera, triple AI based rear cameras that include a 48MP rear camera. The smartphone will be the successor of Vivo V15 launched in September last year. The phone, which first appeared on Amazon is now being seen on Flipkart too. There is also a dual fast charging technology on the phone. For unlocking, Vivo V15 Pro has an in-display fingerprint sensor. The Vivo V15 Pro comes with a price tag of Rs 28,990. India is the first country to witness the launch of Vivo V15 Pro.
The smartphone will go on sale from March 6 on both online and offline platforms. The smartphone has already been teased on Amazon and will most likely be available on Vivo's own online store.
Vivo V15 Pro specifications
The all-new Vivo V15 Pro comes with a 6.39-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED Ultra FullView Display. It is powered by Snapdragon 675 AIE octa-core processor. The smartphone 3,700mAh battery with "dual engine" fast charging technology. V15 Pro has a fingerprint scanner embedded in the display screen itself. The smartphone comes with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage.
Vivo V15 Pro has a face unlock added to the front camera which can recognise 1,000 facial points. The smartphone will come in two colour options -- Topaz Blue and Red. The smartphone comes with ultra-full view display without notch and bezels.
In terms of optics, there is a triple camera setup which include 48MP quad pixel primary sensor, with effective capabilities of a 12MP sensor. One 8MP sensor and another 5MP sensor are also there in the mix. The LED flash has been placed between the first and second lens.
On the front, Vivo V15 Pro has a 32-megapixel selfie camera that is going to pop-out whenever required. The phone will also come with a 3.5mm headphone jack while the bottom edge has the charging port, the SIM card tray and the speaker grill.
