Xiaomi Mi 9X is one of the most anticipated smartphones and some reports have been making rounds over the internet revealing some of its features and specifications. The handset is expected to arrive to get released in April.
The Mi 9X is expected to come with 6.4-inch Full HD AMOLED display with a waterdrop notch at the top front and also with in-screen fingerprint scanner.
The upcoming smartphone is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 SoC and is paired with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Mi 9X runs on MIUI 10 along with Android 9 Pie.
On optics front, some reports suggest that Mi 9X will feature three-camera setup at the back with 48-megapixel primary camera (Sony IMX586 sensor), 13-megapixel super wide-angle sensor, and an 8-megapixel sensor depth or telephoto visibility. For selfies, rumours suggest that it will boasts a 32-pixel Samsung S5KGD1 sensor.
The price of the smartphone is still unknown, but it is expected but it is expected to arrive and begin at a price range of CNY 1,699 which is Rs 19,000 approximately.
Recently, three new Xiaomi devices were launched with codenames pyxis, bamboo_sprout and cosmos_sprout which also feature d in-display fingerprint sensor.
Xiaomi Mi 9X is expected to be backed by a 3300mAh battery along with 18W fast charging.
Apart from this, the Chinese smart device maker announced its foray into the digital payment segment with launch of MiPay app and expansion of its mobile manufacturing.
“We have introduced our innovative MiPay service for our consumers in India. MiPay serves as the ultimate solution to a variety of consumer payment needs, hence empowering millions of Xiaomi users with access to digital payments. Thus, acting as an equaliser providing a seamless experience across all smartphones,” Xiaomi India Chief Operating Officer Muralikrishnan B said.
Xiaomi announced partnership with electronics manufacturing services firm Flex to expand its mobile production in the country.
