The Chinese electronics and software company Xiaomi is offering preview sales on its Mi MIX 2 smartphone with the bezel-less display on Tuesday at 12 pm on e-commerce platforms limited to Flipkart and Mi.com.
Later on, in November, the smartphone will be available for sale on other online and retail shops.
The company has launched one model of the 'regular' ceramic+aluminium variant of the smartphone in India. Its first preview sale was held on October 17.
Mi MIX 2 comes with 5.99 full-screen display, Snapdragon 835, 6GB RAM, 128GB ROM and Global LTE support. The smartphone will be sold in India at ₹35,999.
The smartphone also comes with a dual analog-digital converter function which results in professional HD recording.
Mi MIX 2 includes multi-function NFC for card emulation, mobile payment, & file transfer while travelling and hopefully it will also be provided soon here in India.
It has 6GB LPDDR4x RAM & 128GB storage so that you have more than enough space for your favourite games, videos, and pictures.
Mi MIX 2 comes with Adreno 540 GPU which improves graphics performance by 25% & supports the cutting-edge Vulkan graphics API.
Another big step taken by the company was using an 18:9 display which increases display area by 12.5 percent when compared to traditional 16:9 display.
Mi MIX2 is just 7.7mm thin and rounded aerospace-grade aluminium alloy frame which is light, firm and corrosion resistant.
The smartphone is powered by the flagship Snapdragon 835 processor. Compared to 14nm finfet, it’s 40 percent more power efficient.
Mi MIX 2, just like Mi MIX, was designed by the world-renowned Industrial designer, Philippe Starck.
