The Redmi 5 will be exclusively available on Amazon India, apart from being available on Mi.com, Mi Home Stores, and offline retail executives.
The Redmi 5 was launched on March 14 in the Indian market and was unveiled in China in December last year.
Amazon India has paired up with State Bank of India (SBI) and Reliance Jio to offer discount on the flash sale of the flagship smartphone. Amazon India will give a 90 per cent off on Kindle eBooks, with a maximum discount of Rs 400, to the users buying the Redmi 5.
The users who buy the Redmi 5 by paying through their SBI credit cards will get an instant discount of five per cent on the smartphone. Meanwhile, Reliance Jio users who buy the Redmi 5 will get an instant cashback of Rs 2,200 from Jio, along with an additional 4G data of 100 GB. All the offers last till Terms and Conditions are applied.

The Redmi 5 possesses a 5.7-inch HD+ display with 720X1440 pixel ratio and 18:9 ratio aspect with 282ppi pixel density, 450-nit peak brightness, 72 per cent NTSC colour gamut, and an eye protection mode.
The Redmi 5 is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor with 450 SoC and 1.8GHz chipset, and comes in three RAM options, 2 GB, 3 GB, and 4 GB. The internal memory of the Redmi 5 comes as 2 GB + 16 GB internal storage, 3 GB + 32 GB internal storage, and 4 GB + 64 GB internal storage.
Packing a battery of 3300 mAH, the smartphone will come in four colour options, Black, Gold, Rose Gold, and Lake Blue.
The Redmi 5 comes in three different prices based on the storage memory. The 2 GB RAM + 16 GB internal memory will be available for Rs 7,999, while the 3 GB + 32 GB internal storage variant will come at Rs 8,999, and the 4 GB + 64 GB internal storage variant will be available for Rs 10,999.
