Xiaomi has announced a price cut for its popular Redmi smartphones in the Indian market starting from February 6th to 8th. The handsets which will be available for the sale include Redmi 6A, Redmi 6 and Redmi 6 Pro and the discounts will be ranging from Rs 500 to Rs 2000. These 6 series smartphones will be available for sale through Xiaomi e-store, Amazon and Flipkart.
The official Twitter handle of Redmi India announced that the smartphone maker has reduced the price of Redmi 6A, Redmi 6 and the Redmi 6 Pro. Apart from this, the tweet also took at the Sansung’s recently launched smartphones of Galaxy M-series.
Take a look at the Redmi 6-series smartphones which will be available for sale at their current prices:
Redmi 6A – The handset comes with a 5.45-inch HD multi-touch screen with a resolution of 1440x720 pixels and 18:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by a 2.0GHz Mediatek Helio A22 quad core processor.
On optics front, it sports a 13-megapixel camera lens at its back and a 5-megapixel camera lens at the front for taking selfies. The Redmi 6A comes in 2GB RAM only with an option in its internal storage of 16 GB and 32GB. The 2GB RAM + 16GB inbuilt storage variant is currently available at Rs 5,999 and 2GB RAM + 32GB inbuilt storage variant at Rs 6,999.
Redmi 6 – Another handset which will be available for sale is Redmi 6 which comes with a 5.45-inch HD display with a resolution of 1440x720 pixels. It is powered by a 2.0 GHz Mediatek P22 Octa-core Processor.
On camera front, it boasts dual-camera setup at the back with 12MP + 5MP camera lens and 5MP camera optics in the front for selfies. The 3GB RAM + 32GB internal storage of Redmi 6 is available at Rs 8,999 on Amazon’s shopping portal.
Redmi 6 Pro – The handset sports a 5.84-inch FHD display with 2280x1080 pixels resolution and 432 ppi pixel density. It is powered by a 2.0GHz Qualcomm snapdragon 625 octa-core processor.
On camera front, it has dual-camera setup of 12MP + 5MP camera in the back and a 5MP camera lens at the front for selfies. It comes in two RAM variants of 3GB RAM + 32 GB internal storage and 4GB RAM + 64GB of inbuilt storage. The 3GB RAM variant is available for Rs 9,999 and the 4GB Ram variant at Rs 11,999.
