Xiaomi-backed Yi technology on Wednesday launched the Yi Smart Dash Camera in India at the price of Rs 5200. It is to be noted that Yi technology already has Yi Action Camera, Yi 4K Action Camera, and Yi Home Security Camera in the Indian market.
Coming back to the all-new Yi Smart Dash Camera, it can be installed to the windscreen of the car and have it record while you drive. Interesting! Isn’t it?
On the software front, the Yi Smart Dash Camera comes with ‘Advanced Driver Assistant System’ that gives out real-time warnings and the lane departure warnings alerts to drivers when they are moving out of the lane.
Talking about the other features, the Yi Smart Dash Camera sports a 2.7-inch 16:9 1080p screen, which can also be used to watch the recorded content. It also comes with Wi-Fi support which enables users to stream live video from the dash camera.
The Yi Smart Dash Camera is equipped with a 165-degree field-of-view and is capable of recording video at 1080p 60fps and 1080p 30fps. It has a dedicated microSD card slot to store all the recorded footages. It further comes with a G-Sensor that allows the camera to automatically record and save clips in an emergency situation.
The Yi Smart Dash Camera, which measures 17 x 11.2 x 6.1 cm and weighs 295 grams, is available for purchase via Amazon India in Space Grey colour.
As it is mentioned above that the Yi Smart Dash Camera is priced at Rs 5200, which includes a launch discount of Rs 699. However, it is unclear for how long the promotional pricing will remain in effect.
