Airtel has launched new recharge pack for its prepaid users to take on Reliance Jio. The new recharge plan offers talk time, data, and rate cutter benefits. Airtel has introduced a prepaid recharge plan of Rs 398 which takes on Jio’s Rs 398 and Rs 349 prepaid plans. The company is coming up with new packs and benefits regularly to take on the fast-growing competition from Jio. Reliance Jio has the highest subscribers this year, more than all the rivals combined together.

Airtel’s new plan competes with its own Rs 399 plan that is offering 1.4GB data per day for 70 days. However, the new plan is valid across all the 22 telecom circles in the country.

Airtel Rs 398 plan benefits:

Airtel Rs 398 prepaid recharge plan comes with 1.5GB of daily 4G data, unlimited voice calls (local, STD and roaming) without any FUP limit and 90 SMS per day.

The new plan is valid for 70 days.

In comparison, the already existing Rs 399 recharge plan from Airtel gives unlimited voice calls, 1.4GB of daily data and 100 SMS per day, while the Rs 398 recharge is offering 1.5GB data. So, the data benefit is better on the newly launched prepaid plan by Airtel.
