Google on Thursday introduced the name of their next Android which has been officially named as Android 10, rather than being named on a desert. The new Android is developed keeping in mind privacy of users along with some tweaks in UI. We have listed down top 10 features which will be seen in the next version of Android.

The Dark Mode – Google has already introduced the ‘Dark Mode’ in many of its app and now has applied it on its complete user interface. This mode will also save battery and increase the increase the standby time of the handset.

Audio Features - Android 10 lets two apps on your phone record or listen to audio at the same time. For instance, you could, depending on privacy settings and permissions, use the voice recorder app while also speaking to Google assistant.

Live Captions - Live Caption can provide real-time captions for just about anything that’s playing on your phone. 

Location Permissions – When an application asks for your location access now you’ll also have an option to grant location access to the app only when you’re using it.

Privacy – Android 10 also restricts apps from accessing the contents of the phone screen. Any apps that need to access the phone screen will now need additional, on-the-go permission.

Wi-Fi QR code - With Android 10, you can now share your Wi-Fi password via a QR Code and now user need not to remember Wi-Fi passwords.

For Foldable phones – Basically, this feature is for foldable phones including Samsung Galaxy Fold, Huawei Mate X and more, Android 10 will let the phones help in app’s resizing, screen ratios, multi window functions, display cutouts and more.

New gesture based navigation system – With Android 10, the user can swipe up to go home, swipe from either side to go back and swipe up and hold to reveal the multitasking menu. This also means that Google will be killing its back button that has been ubiquitous over all its past releases.

Thermal API – it will let apps to know the state of the processors of the handset. If the apps detect that the phone has warmed up, they can make changes to how they function in order to bring the temperature down and restore optimum performance. 

Bubbles - Bubbles are notifications ‘bubbles’ that will now pop up on your screen, even when you are using other applications.
