New Delhi:

Next year it will be the tenth anniversary of Samsung’s Galaxy S flagship series and Samsung is planning for a mega upgrade like Apple did with iPhone X last year, as per reports.

Samsung is pushing forward for a new 3D camera algorithm that would be used to create face recognition technology like Apple’s Face ID. Under-display fingerprint sensors are also a real possibility for premium versions.

The tenth generation of Galaxy S series will produce ground-breaking features and reports of Samsung linking up with Mantis Vision which is an Israeli camera expert and Namuga which is a Japanese module manufacturer are coming through. It is also being said that both the companies will introduce next-gen technology but it is also believed that Samsung might fail to meet the deadline.

Samsung is ready to take risks and introduce new features even if some requirements are not met by the time Galaxy S10 arrives, as per reports. The South Korean company is desperate to move away from the current 2D sensing technology.

Further, it is also being said that Samsung is working on under-display fingerprint technology similar to Vivo X20 Plus.

Additionally, Samsung is also collaborating with Qualcomm, Synaptics, and Aegis Technologies to enhance the image sensors for the next generation Galaxy S series.
