Asus 6z and Asus 5z have received a permanent price cut. Planning to buy Asus 6Z or Asus 5z? This is the best time to grab the flagship phones. The price for Asus 6z and Asus 5z has been slashed by a minimum Rs 4,000 and Rs 5,000, respectively.
Back in June this year, Asus 6Z - aka ZenFone 6Z aka ZenFone 6 (2019) - was launched in India. The price for the 6GB RAM and 64GB storage variant of Asus 6Z in India was set at Rs 31,999. The price for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant and 8GBRAM and 256GB in India was set at Rs 34,999 and Rs 39,999, respectively.
After the price cut, the 6GB RAM and 64GB storage variant of Asus 6Z in India costs Rs 27,999. The 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant and top-end 8GB RAM and 256GB of Asus 6Z are now available at Rs 30,999 and Rs 34,999, respectively.
Coming to the Asus 5Z, the smartphone has witnessed a minimum Rs 5,000 price cut. The price for the 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage of Asus 5Z in India has come down to Rs 16,999. The middle variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage gets a Rs 6,000 price cut and it is now available at Rs 18,999. The top-end variant of the Asus 5Z gets a Rs 7,000 price cut and it is now available at Rs 21,999.
Asus 6Z: Specifications
The Asus 6Z measures 159.1x75.11x8.1-9.1mm and it weighs 190 grams. It features a 6.4-inch full-HD+ LCD display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The Asus 6Z comes with a dual-SIM (Nano) and it runs on Android Pie with the company's Zen UI 6 on top. The smartphone is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and Adreno 640 GPU.
On the optics front, there are two cameras on the smartphone’s back – a 48-megapixel sensor and a 13-megapixel shooter. Interestingly, both the cameras are fixed on a motorised panel that flips when selfie mode is turned on. The cameras flip upwards so as to double as selfie cameras, in addition to when the face unlock is functioning.
Asus 6Z comes with up to 256GB of inbuilt storage which is expandable using a dedicated microSD card slot. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (Wi-Fi 5), GPS/ A-GPS, FM radio, NFC, USB Type-C, Bluetooth 5.0 and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The smartphone is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with Quick Charge 4.0 fast charging. The Asus 6Z has been launched in Midnight Black and Twilight Silver colour variants.

Asus 5Z: Specifications
Asus 5Z was launched in June last year and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC. It is available in multiple RAM and storage variants and sports a dual-camera setup comprising of a 12-megapixel primary sensor and an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera. The 5Z packs a 3,300mAh battery and has support for Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0.
