boAt lifestyle, which is best known for its affordable range of speakers and headphones, has launched the Boat Stone 200A. The newly-launched Boat speaker is an IPX6 rated and is water, shock, and dust resistant. Interestingly, the Boat Stone 200A comes with Amazon's Alexa assistant built-in making it an affordable option for people looking for a portable smart speaker. It costs Rs 1,499.
Boat Stone 200A: Specifications & Features
According to a report of NDTV’s Gadgets 360, the Boat Stone 200A has a 1.96-inch full-range driver with a 3W output. It has a frequency range of 180Hz-20KHz and an impedance of 4 ohms. The Boat Stone 200A measures 96.5x88x49mm and weighs 240g.
On the connectivity front, the Boat Stone 200A has Bluetooth 4.1, an Aux port, and a USB port for charging. The portable speakers pack a 1500mAh battery. Boat claims 8 to 10 hours of playback. However, the Boat Stone 200A takes 3-hours to charge the speaker completely.
The Boat Stone 200A has 5 buttons on the top that includes music playback, volume controls and a multifunction key. It is worth mentioning here that users will have to download the Boat Lifestyle app from the Google Play Store or the iOS store. For the full functionality of Alexa, users will have to download the Amazon Alexa app. Once set up, users can summon Alexa on the speaker using the voice alone.
