As number of coronavirus cases increases in India with each passing day, the government of India has launched an official Chatbot on WhatsApp in order to provide essential information regarding the deadly outbreak. The official Whatsapp Chatbot goes by the name ‘MyGov Corona Helpdesk’ and is available to all the WhatsApp users. In order to get information from the Chatbot, one just needs to save '9013151515' in the contacts list in his/her phone and drop a message on this number. The sender will get an automated response for the query.
The National Pharmaceuticals Pricing Authority of India in a tweet said,
The Government has created WhatsApp Chatbot on Corona.

It is called MyGov Corona Helpdesk.
Just save on WhatsApp 9013151515 and you will get automated response on queries related to Corona.
WhatsApp had recently announced that its users' base has touched the 2 billion-mark worldwide and in India alone, it clocked 400 million users as of July last year.
Moreover, American multinational technology company, Microsoft, launched a web portal to track the transmission of COVID-19. The website provides updated information regarding the progress of coronavirus pandemic for each country.
According to latest updates, the number of confirmed coronavirus cases has gone up to 195 with 22 new fresh cases coming from various parts of India.

The coronavirus cases in India include 32 foreign nationals-17 from Italy, 3 from the Philippines, two from the UK, one each belonging to Canada, Indonesia and Singapore. Moreover, India has reported four deaths from Delhi, Karnataka, Punjab and Maharashtra due to coronavirus so far.
Earlier on Thursday, in an address to the nation, Prime Minister Narendra Modi urged citizens not to panic and observe Janta Curfew on Sunday. The PM also requested people not leave their homes between 7 am and 9 pm.
