PUBG Mobile is one of the most popular mobile video games in the world. Recently, it was reported that PUBG Mobile has been downloaded more than 400 million times across platforms. Well, the popularity of PUBG Mobile is growing day by day. If you have ever played PUBG, you would know that the number of hackers and cheaters have increased substantially. Well, PUBG has been involved in a long battle against cheaters and hackers that populate the battle royale game.

How does PUBG Mobile catch cheaters?

In a bid to track hackers, Tencent has put a Game Security Team in place that is constantly working around the clock to monitor, identify, and remove cheaters in-game. However, the first line of defence against cheating is their systems that scan for suspect software and modified game data.

PUBG Mobile stated that most cheating software is easy to spot because the company has an enormous library of cheating software and techniques that allow it to catch hackers fairly quickly. This method is the most effective one to catch cheaters. However, PUBG claims that it is constantly working to improve.

Moreover, the company has other methods to track hackers, including in-game observation. PUBG has explained that even in the case when no cheating software is detected, the game's security team is always on the lookout for suspicious behaviour, and when they notice something that looks a bit off, they usually monitor the player for a while to determine if the player is cheating his way through the game.

It is worth mentioning here that PUBG has always asked the community of players to help them identify cheaters. However, the game developers have also cautioned against reporting every second player for cheating, as it could also be true that the player at the opposite end may just be good, or plain lucky instead of being a cheater.
