Honor Pad 5 with 8 inch, 10.1 inch unveiled in India: soon to be available on Flipkart

The Honor Pad 5 (8-inch) and Honor Pad 5 (10.1-inch) were launched in India on Tuesday. It is to be noted that both the tablets are made for media consumption and will be available to the consumers next month. Besides, Honor also unveiled the three smartphones under Honor 20 series.

Honor Pad 5 (8-inch) will be offered in two versions i.e. 3GB + 32GB and 4GB + 64GB. The 3GB RAM and 4GB RAM variants of the Honor Pad 5 (8-inch) will be sold at a price of Rs 15,499 and Rs 17,499, respectively. Likewise, Honor Pad 5 (10.1-inch) will also be offered in two versions i.e. 3GB + 32GB and 4GB + 64GB. The 3GB RAM and 4GB RAM variants of the tablet will be sold at a price of Rs 16,999 and Rs 18,999, respectively. All the variants of both the tablets will be offered in Glacial Blue colour. It will be sold via Flipkart in India in July.

Honor Pad 5 (8-inch) specifications

The Honor Pad 5 (8-inch) features an 8-inch full-HD screen (1920x1200 pixels). It runs on Android 9 Pie with Magic UI 2.0 on top. The device is powered by HiSilicon Kirin 710 SoC, paired with up to 4GB of RAM. The storage of the tablet packs up to 64GB of onboard storage with a dedicated microSD card slot (up to 512GB).

On the optics front, the tablet sports 8-megapixel cameras on both front and back. Also, the tablet comes with dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support and usual set of connectivity options, including voice calling support, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.

Honor Pad 5 (10.1-inch) specifications

Honor Pad 5 (10.1-inch) features a 10.1-inch full-HD screen (1920x1200 pixels) and runs on Android Oreo with EMUI 8.0 on top. It is powered by HiSilicon Kirin 659 SoC, paired with up to 4GB of RAM.

On the optics front, the Honor Pad 5 (10.1-inch) sports an 8-megapixel camera on the back and a 2-megapixel fixed-focus camera on the front. There is up to 64GB of onboard storage as well, with a dedicated microSD card slot (up to 256GB). It also has a dual stereo speakers with Harman Kardon audio tuning and a fingerprint sensor. In terms of the connectivity options, the smartphone gets 4G LTE support, voice calling, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.
