LG K50S, LG K40S launched in India: Specifications here

LG, the South Korean smartphone maker, has launched two smartphones under K-series in India. Notably, LG K50S and LG K40S are the two new smartphones under K-series that were launched. Both LG K50S and LG K40S come with a build that is claimed to be based on MIL-STD-810G standard. LG has also provided DTS:X 3D Surround Sound on the smartphones. Both LG K50S and LG K40S come with a dedicated Google Assistant button.

The two smartphones will be available in New Aurora Black and New Moroccan Blue colour options. However, the smartphone maker is yet to reveal the prices for both the devices. It is worth mentioning here that LG K50S and LG K40S are the successor of K50 and K40 smartphones. LG K50 and LG K40 were launched at MWC 2019 back in February this year.

LG K50S: Specifications & Features

LG K50S features a 6.5-inch HD+ FullVision Display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It runs Android 9 Pie. The device is powered by an octa-core SoC that is clocked at 2GHz, coupled with 3GB of RAM.

On the imagining front, LG K50S houses the triple rear camera setup that includes a 13-megapixel primary sensor, 5-megapixel secondary sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the front, there is a 13-megapixel selfie camera   

The smartphone has 32GB of onboard storage that is expandable via microSD card (up to 2TB). It measures 165.8x77.5x8.2mm. Connectivity options on the smartphone include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS/ A-GPS. The smartphone packs a 4,000mAh battery and has a fingerprint sensor at the back.

LG K40S: Specifications & Features

LG K40S features a 6.1-inch HD+ FullVision Display panel with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone runs Android 9 Pie and is powered by the 2GHz octa-core SoC, paired with 2GB and 3GB RAM options.

On the imagining front, LG K40S houses dual rear camera setup that includes a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor. On the front, the smartphone has a 13-megapixel selfie camera.

LG K40S has 32GB of internal storage that is expandable via microSD card (up to 2TB). Connectivity options on the smartphone include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS/ A-GPS. The device measures 156.3x73.9x8.6mm. It packs a 3,500mAh battery.

Importantly, both LG K50S and LG K40S will be showcased at IFA 2019 in Berlin, Germany next month. LG K50S and LG K40S will be available in Europe, Latin America and Asia starting this October.
