Xiaomi is all set to launch a new smartphone series called “CC” on July 2 this year. The first smartphones under the CC series will be Mi CC9 and the Mi CC9e. It is to be noted that Mi CC9 will be launched on July 2 this year in China. However, as of now, there are no words whether or not the Mi CC9 will come to India. Ahead of the official launch, Xiaomi Product Manager Lao Wei posted a picture of the Mi CC9 on microblogging site, Weibo.
In the picture posted by Lao Wei, the Mi CC9 appears in white and flaunts the rear panel design. The smartphone appears with triple rear camera setup placed in a vertical fashion. The camera set up is paired with LED flash. Looking at the picture, the smartphone doesn’t seem to have a fingerprint sensor on the rear. The picture further shows that the Mi CC9 will include "Xiaomi" logo on the left corner.
Recently, the specifications of the Mi CC9 were disclosed by tipster Mukul Sharma. According to him, the Mi CC9 will be launched in multiple variants.
Mi CC9 will run on Android Pie-based MIUI 10 software. It will feature a 6.39-inch full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) AMOLED display and will be powered by the Snapdragon 730 SoC. The smartphone will pack a 4,000mAh battery as well with 27W fast charging support.
The Mi CC9 will come equipped with a triple rear camera setup. It will sport a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor, a 16-megapixel secondary lens, and a 12-megapixel third sensor. On the front, the Mi CC9 will have a 32-megapixel selfie sensor. The device further sports an in-screen fingerprint sensor, IR Blaster, USB Type-C port, and Hi-Res audio support as well.
Disclosing the price, Mukul Sharma said that the Mi CC9 6GB + 128GB will be priced at CNY 2,599 (approx Rs 26,200), the 8GB + 128GB variant will be priced at CNY 2,799 (approx Rs 28,200), and the 8GB + 256GB variant will be priced at CNY 3,099 (approx Rs 31,300).
