Thousands in India are waiting eagerly for the Oppo’s Reno series phones. Well, it’s official now as the Chinese smartphone maker will launch the Reno series on May 28. Yes, you heard it right. Oppo Reno and Oppo Reno 10X Zoom Edition is all set to make its debut in the Indian market.
Oppo Reno will have Snapdragon 710 SoC and dual camera setup with 48MP main and 5MP depth sensing modules. It will be powered by a 4,065 mAH battery and supports VOOC 3.0 fast charging. The handset comes with an Android Pie-based ColorOS 6, Dolby Atmos sound and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The smartphone will be available in Extreme Night Black, Fog Sea Green, Mist Powder and Nebula Purple. The Oppo Reno has 128GB and 256GB of onboard storage options with 6GB RAM. It features 6.4-inch full-HD+ panoramic AMOLED display with 93.1 percent screen-to-body ratio and sixth-generation Corning Gorilla Glass protection.
On the other hand, Oppo Reno 10X Zoom Edition run on ColorOS 6, which is based on Android Pie and sport an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor. It comes with a 6.6-inch panoramic AMOLED display and is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 855 SoC, paired with 6GB and 8GB RAM options.
The smartphone has a triple rear camera setup that includes a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor along with an f/1.7 lens. The camera setup also comprises a 13-megapixel secondary sensor with a periscope telephoto lens on top and an 8-megapixel tertiary sensor with a super wide-angle lens. It also offers 16-160mm full focal length coverage to enable 10x lossless optical zoom.
The Oppo Reno 10x Zoom Edition also has 128GB and 256GB of inbuilt storage options. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, dual GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. Besides, the phone packs a 4,065mAh battery with VOOC 3.0 support. The handset will be available in two colours- Ocean Green and Jet Black.
Importantly, the Oppo Reno 10x Zoom Edition price in China starts at CNY 3,999 (approx Rs 41,200) for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage configuration. The 6GB RAM + 256GB storage model, on the other side, is priced at CNY 4,499 (approx Rs 46,400) and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant at CNY 4,799 (approx Rs 49,500).
In contrast, the Oppo Reno price in China has been set at CNY 2,999 (approx Rs 30,900) for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant, while its 6GB RAM + 256GB storage model is priced at CNY 3,299 (approx Rs. 34,000) and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model comes at CNY 3,599 (approx Rs 37,100).
