Realme 5i has recently gone on open sale in India. The key features on Realme 5i include 5,000mAh battery, 6.52-inch HD display, and quad rear camera setup, among others. On the competition front in the Indian market, Realme 5i is up against Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 and Vivo U10. Realme 5i

Realme 5i sports a 6.52-inch HD+ (720x1600 pixels) in-cell display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and 269ppi of pixel density. The smartphone supports dual-SIM (Nano) technology and runs Android 9 Pie with ColorOS 6.0.1 on top.

It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC, paired with 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM. Realme 5i has 64GB of onboard storage that is expandable via microSD card (up to 256GB).

On the imaging front, Realme 5i comes equipped with the quad rear camera setup that houses a 12-megapixel primary sensor along with an f/1.8 lens. The primary camera is assisted by an 8-megapixel sensor that has a wide-angle f/2.25 lens, paired with two 2-megapixel sensors that have f/2.4 portrait and macro lenses on top. On the front, there is an 8-megapixel camera sensor along with an f/2.0 lens.

It packs a 5,000mAh battery. Connectivity options on the phone include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Sensors include an accelerometer, ambient light, gyroscope, and a proximity sensor. Also, there is a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication and an LED flash.

The price for the lone 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant of Realme 5i in India has been set at Rs 8,999. The smartphone is available in Aqua Blue and Forest Green colour options.

Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2

Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1 features a 5.99-inch full-HD+ (1080x2160 pixels) IPS Full View display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. The dual-SIM (Nano) Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1 is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC, paired with Adreno 509 GPU and up to 6GB RAM. The device also has up to 64GB of onboard storage that is expandable via microSD card.

On the imaging front, the smartphone comes equipped with a dual rear camera setup. The 3GB and 4GB RAM versions of the smartphone carry a 13-megapixel primary camera with an f/2.2 lens and a 5-megapixel depth-sensing secondary image sensor, while the 6GB RAM variant comes with 16-megapixel primary shooter in place of the 13-megapixel shooter. On the front, it houses a 16-megapixel shooter for selfies.

The phone packs a 5,000mAh battery and a rear fingerprint sensor. The 3GB RAM + 32GB storage variant of the phone costs Rs Rs 7,999, the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant can be purchased at Rs 8,999 and the 6GB RAM + 64GB storage variant can be grabbed at Rs 11,999.

Vivo U10

Vivo U10 sports a 6.35-inch HD+ (720x1544 pixels) IPS Halo FullView Display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio and 89 per cent screen-to-body ratio.

The smartphone supports dual-SIM (Nano) technology and it runs Android 9 Pie with Funtouch OS 9.1 on top. Vivo U10 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 AIE SoC, paired with up to 4GB of RAM.

On the imaging front, Vivo U10 comes equipped with the triple rear camera setup that houses a 13-megapixel primary sensor with an f/2.2 lens, 8-megapixel secondary sensor with a 120-degree super-wide-angle f/2.2 lens and a 2-megapixel portrait sensor with an f/2.4 lens. Also, there is an 8-megapixel shooter for selfies on the front.

Vivo U10 comes with 32GB and 64GB of internal storage options. Connectivity options on the smartphone include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, FM radio, and Micro-USB port. It also has an accelerometer, ambient light, fingerprint sensor, magnetometer, and a proximity sensor. The smartphone packs a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging technology. The device measures 159.43x76.77x8.92mm and it weighs 190.5 grams.

The price of 3GB RAM + 32GB storage variant of Vivo U10 in India has been set at Rs 8,990. The 3GB RAM + 64GB storage option of Vivo U10 costs 9,990 while the top-of-the-line 4GB RAM + 64GB storage configuration is priced at Rs 10,990. The smartphone is available in Electric Blue and Thunder Black colour options.
