Realme X Up for 'Blind Order' in India: Here’s how you can get your hands on smartphone before others

Realme X, one of the most anticipated smartphones in India, is all set to make its debut in the country on July 15, 2019. Many of you would be waiting eagerly to get your hand on the smartphone. Aren’t you? Realme has now announced that the smartphone will be up for grabs ahead of launch in a blind-order sale.

It is to be noted that the blind-order sale will allow buyers to pre-order the Realme X by a simple registration process and a deposit fee of Rs 100. The sale was up on July 11 and will last until July 14, 2019. Registering in the blind-order sale will ensure buyers a guaranteed purchase of the Realme X on July 22.

Users must visit Realme.com for blind-order. After the registration formalities, buyers will have to follow the steps on the blind order page and pay Rs 1,000 as a deposit.

It is worth mentioning here that the Realme X can be bought by only the first 2,000 customers through this method while the Realme X Spider-Man: Far From Home Gift Box can be bought by only 300 customers.

As a bonus, the Rs 1,000 deposit will be increased to Rs 1,500, and these pre-order customers can then purchase the phone between July 22 12pm (noon) IST to July 26 11.59pm IST. The buyers will have to pay the remaining amount at checkout. The Realme X will be shipped from July 22, while the Spider-Man Edition will be shipped after July 25.

However, if you do not wish to pre-order, you can cancel your pre-order before July 22 12pm (noon) IST. For those who do not take any action, their chance for a guaranteed purchase will forfeit, and the deposit amount will be refunded automatically by July 27. Realme announced all the blind order details on its forums. The phone has already launched in China, and its pricing in India should be announced on July 15.

Realme X: Specification

The Realme X is equipped with a 6.53-inch full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) AMOLED screen with 19.5:9 aspect ratio, 91.2 percent screen-to-body ratio. It also features Gorilla Glass 5 protection and have an in-display fingerprint sensor for authentication. The dimensions of the handset is 161.2x76.9x9.4mm and it weighs 191 grams.

The Realme X is powered by a Snapdragon 710 SoC chipset clocked at 2.2GHz and comes in a total of three variants with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The smartphone runs Android 9 Pie with ColorOS 6.0.

Coming to the optics, the Realme X packs a 48-megapixel primary camera with f/1.7 aperture that is accompanied by a 5-megapixel secondary sensor with an f/2.4 lens. Also, there is a 16-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture on the front.

Other features Realme X nclude a USB Type-C port, Dolby Atmos support, 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5, GPS.

On the competition front, the Realme X will be up against Redmi K20 in the Indian market after the launch.

On the other hand, Realme X Spiderman edition is equipped with an exclusive themed UI inspired by Spider-Man. The phone also includes a customized wallpaper and icon pack. Further, the special Realme X Spider-Man: Far From Home gift box also includes a Spider-Man themed phone case, charger and a device.
