In July, it is highly expected to see smartphones like the Redmi K20 Pro, Realme X and Galaxy A80, among others. Xiaomi Redmi Go

Xiaomi Redmi Go, an entry level smartphone, is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 SoC, coupled with 1GB of RAM and the Adreno 308 GPU. The device is available in a single variant with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage which can be expanded to 128GB via microSD card. The Redmi Go measures 140.4x70.1x8.35mm and weighs 137 grams.

In terms of optics, Redmi Go comes up with 8-megapixel rear camera with 1.12-micron pixels, an f/2.0 aperture, and a single LED flash module. There is also a 5MP front camera for selfies. The smartphone is available in two colour variants - Black and Blue. Redmi Go runs Android 8.1 Oreo (Go edition) and sports a 5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) display. Realme 3

Realme 3 went on sale in March this year at the price of Rs 10,999. Realme 3 sports a 6.22-inch dew-drop design and is fuelled by a 4230mAh battery. Sensors on Realme 3 include accelerometre, ambient light sensor, digital compass, fingerprint sensor, and proximity sensor. Realme 3 is powered by a 12nm Helio P70 AI Processor.

On optics front, the smartphone is equipped with a dual-camera setup at the back with 13MP + 2MP camera lens with LED flash and Nightscape. For selfies, it boasts a 13MP AI camera lens for capturing clear and bright images in low light conditions. It comes in two colours—Dynamic Black and Radiant Blue. In terms of software, the Realme 3 runs ColorOS 6 UI based on Android 9 Pie.

Samsung Galaxy M10

Samsung Galaxy M10 is priced at Rs 8,990. It comes with an Infinity-V display and sports dual 13-megapixel plus 5-megapixel rear cameras. The smartphone also comes with a 5-megapixel front camera for selfies. Galaxy M10 comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage.

Samsung Galaxy M10 runs on the new OneUI and is fuelled by a 3,400mAh battery. It is to be noted that the smartphone does not come with a fingerprint sensor and it relies on traditional on-screen unlock feature and a face unlock.

Redmi Y3

The Honor 20i is equipped with a triple rear camera setup, which sports a 24-megapixel Primary shooter with an f/1.8 lens, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera with an f/2.4 lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with an f/2.4 lens. It houses a 32-megapixel camera on the front.

Realme 3 Pro

The dual-SIM (Nano) Realme 3 Pro runs on Android 9 Pie with ColorOS 6.0 on top. It has a 6.3-inch full-HD+ IPS display with a waterdrop notch and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC clocked at 2.2GHz.

The Realme 3 Pro sports a dual camera setup with a 16-megapixel primary shooter with f/1.7 aperture and a 5-megapixel secondary shooter with f/2.4 aperture. On the front is a 25-megapixel selfie snapper with f/2.0 aperture. Among other specifications, the phone includes a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, 4,045mAh battery with support for VOOC 3.0 fast charging, and the usual set of connectivity options.

The 6GB RAM with 64GB storage variant of Realme 3 Pro is priced at Rs 15,999, while the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage variant priced at Rs 16,999. The smartphone is available in Carbon Grey, Lightning Purple, and Nitro Blue.

Xiaomi Poco F1

Xiaomi Poco F1 is powered by Qualcomm’s 2018 flagship chipset, Snapdragon 845. It also comes with a 4,000mAh battery, ‘LiquidCool Technology’ and a 20-megapixel front camera. The 6GB+64GB variant of Poco F1 costs Rs 17,999 while the 128GB storage version of Poco F1 is available at Rs 20,999. It is to be noted that Poco F1 is the oldest launch in this segment.

Vivo Z1 Pro

Vivo Z1 Pro was launched in India earlier this month. The smartphone will be offered in three colours i.e. Sonic Blue, Mirror Black and Sonic Black.

It is to be noted that the newly-launched phone will be offered in three storage variants - 4GB + 64GB, 6GB + 64GB, and 6GB + 128GB. The prices for 6GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB variants are Rs 16,990 and Rs 17,990 respectively. It will first go on sale on July 11 in the country via Flipkart and Vivo website.

As far as the launch offers are concerned, the Vivo Z1 Pro buyers will get Rs 750 discount on Flipkart if they use ICICI credit or debit cards for payment. Additionally, the buyers will get benefits worth Rs 6,000 for Reliance Jio.

The Vivo Z1 Pro will be the first smartphone to be powered with octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 SoC in India. The new SoC is based on 10nm manufacturing process and includes eight Kryo 360 CPU cores clocked at up to 2.3GHz and Adreno 616 GPU. It also include Center Turbo, AI Turbo, Net Turbo, Cooling Turbo and Game Turbo features with an aim to improve the gaming performance.

According to the Vivo, the smartphone will be housing a 32-megapixel in-display (company speak for hole-punch) selfie camera and a triple rear camera setup with LED flash. The company has further revealed that it will pack a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support as well as a rear fingerprint sensor.

Motorola One Vision

The Motorola One Vision, which comes with dual-SIM (Nano), runs on Android 9 Pie. It features a 6.3-inch full-HD+ (1080x2520 pixels) with 21:9 aspect ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass. The smartphone is powered by octa-core Samsung Exynos 9609 SoC, clocked at 2.2GHz and paired with Mali G72 MP3 GPU and 4GB of RAM.

The One Vision phone measures 160.1x71.2x8.7mm, and weighs 181 grams. The premium smartphone packs 4GB of RAM and offers 128GB internal storage as well. The storage can be expanded with a microSD card slot (up to 512GB).

On the optics front, the One Vision sports a 48-megapixel snapper with f/1.7 aperture and another 5-megapixel camera with f/2.2 aperture. The smartphone also supports dual-LED flash, 8x digital zoom, portrait mode, manual mode, cinemagraph, panorama, active display mode, Auto HDR and many more. On the front, there is a 25-megapixel sensor with f/2.0 aperture as well.

Among other specifications, the One Vision packs a 3,500mAh battery with TurboPower fast charging support. Connectivity options include Bluetooth v5, USB Type-C port, 3.5mm audio jack, NFC, GPS, AGPS, GLONASS, more. Sensors on board include fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, compass and magnetometer. Importantly, the phone is IP52 certified.

Motorola One Vision in India will cost Rs 19,999 for the lone 4GB + 128GB variant. The smartphone, which will be available in two colour variants - Sapphire Blue and Bronze, will go on sale from June 27 on Flipkart.

Best phones under Rs 50,000

OnePlus 7

The OnePlus 7 comes in two variants i.e. 6GB RAM and 128GB at Rs 32,999, while the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant will cost Rs 37,999. Importantly, the 6GB RAM variant will only be available in a Mirror Grey colour variant, while the 8GB RAM variant will be available in both Mirror Grey and Red colour variants. The Red colour variant has only been launched in India and China.

The OnePlus 7 gets dual-SIM (Nano) and runs OxygenOS based on Android 9.0 Pie. The smartphone has a 6.41-inch full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) Optic AMOLED display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio, a pixel density of 402ppi, and support for sRGB and DCI-P3 colour gamuts. The phone’s display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 6.

It is powered by the Snapdragon 855 and gets RAM Boost. The handset also gets dual-stereo speakers for the first time with dual Dolby Atmos. The OnePlus 7 further gets 48-megapixel primary shooter, UFS 3.0 storage, and Fast Charge.

Connectivity options on the OnePlus 7 include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, NFC, GPS/ A-GPS, and a USB Type-C (v3.1 Gen 1) port that also doubles as the headphone port. It runs on a 3,700mAh battery.

Honor 20

The dual-SIM (Nano) Honor 20 have 6.26-inch displays with small punch-hole cameras to the top left of the display and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It runs Android 9 Pie with Magic UI 2.1 on top. Interestingly, the smartphone is powered by HiSilicon Kirin 980 SoC, paired with 6GB of RAM. The device measures 154.25x73.97x7.87mm and weighs 174 grams.

Honor 20 comes in Sapphire Blue, Midnight Black and Icelandic White. Coming to the optics, Honor 20 is equipped with a quadruple rear camera setup, with a 48-megapixel primary sensor, 16-megapixel ultrawide camera, a 2-megapixel depth assist camera and a 2-megapixel macro camera. On the front, it has a 32-megapixel selfie camera. There are also various camera features, including AI Camera, AI Ultra Clarity mode, and AI Colour mode.

The smartphone packs a 3,700mAh battery with 22.5W Honor Super Charge support, Virtual 9.1 Surround Sound technology, dual microphones and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The Honor 20 is available only in single variant in India i.e. 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage.

The price of Honor 20 in India is Rs 32,999.

Oppo Reno 10x Zoom

Oppo Reno 10X Zoom Edition run on ColorOS 6, which is based on Android Pie and sport an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor. It comes with a 6.6-inch panoramic AMOLED display and is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 855 SoC, paired with 6GB and 8GB RAM options.

The smartphone has a triple rear camera setup that includes a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor along with an f/1.7 lens. The camera setup also comprises a 13-megapixel secondary sensor with a periscope telephoto lens on top and an 8-megapixel tertiary sensor with a super wide-angle lens. It also offers 16-160mm full focal length coverage to enable 10x lossless optical zoom.

The Oppo Reno 10x Zoom Edition also has 128GB and 256GB of inbuilt storage options. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, dual GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. OnePlus 7 Pro

OnePlus 7 pro gets a 6.7-inch Fluid AMOLED screen with curved edges, Quad-HD+ (3120x1440 pixels) resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate and also HDR10+ support. The OnePlus 7 Pro also gets the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 7nm chipset running on eight Kryo cores.

OnePlus 7 Pro gets a 16-megapixel pop-up selfie camera on the front. It has a triple-lens rear camera comprising a 48MP (f/1.7) primary sensor with OIS, joined by a 16MP (f/2.2) wide-angle lens with 117-degree field-of-view. The cameras also get PDAF, AI detection and laser autofocus. OnePlus 7 Pro comes in three variants - 6GB RAM + 128GB storage, 8GB RAM+256GB storage and 12GB RAM+256GB storage.

The battery capacity of the phone has been bumped to 3700mAh to 4000mAh with Warp Charge. The phone also gets dual-speakers with 3D sound helped by Dolby Atmos. OnePlus 7 Pro starts at Rs 48,999 for the 6GB+128GB variant, and Rs 52,999 for the 8GB+256GB model. The premium 12GB+256GB variant of OnePlus 7 Pro is priced at Rs 57,999.
