With an aim to challenge OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 pro, Xiaomi India has confirmed that it will soon launch the first flagship smartphone named as Redmi K2.0. The self-proclaimed Flagship Killer 2.0 will feature the Snapdragon 855 and a 48MP camera.
In a tweet, Xiaomi’s VP Manu Jain recently said, “Congratulations @OnePlus team! 👏 There's a new flagship in town. Flagship Killer 2.0: coming soon.. Hold my dragon!”

Manu Jain’s tweet indicates that the Redmi K20 will compete against OnePlus 7 which is priced at Rs 32,999.
As per the previous leaks, the Redmi K2.0 Pro will be powered by the latest Qualcomm flagship processor along with a full-view 6.39-inch AMOLED notch-less display with an in-display fingerprint reader along with Gorilla Glass 6 protection.
The smartphone is also expected to feature a triple camera setup at the back which could include 48-megapixel primary sensor, an ultrawide lens on an 8-megapixel sensor and a telephoto lens on a 16-megapixel sensor. It is further expected to feature a pop-up camera with a 20-megapixel sensor and a 4,000mAh battery with 27W fast charging.
According to GSMArena, The internal name of the device is the “Demon King”.
It is to be noted that the announcement from Xiaomi India comes a day after OnePlus launched its most premium flagship devices OnePlus 7 pro and OnePlus 7. The OnePlus7 looks similar to the OnePlus 6T with a dewdrop styled notch, flat display and glass body. It is powered by the Snapdragon 855 and gets RAM Boost. The handset also gets dual-stereo speakers for the first time with dual Dolby Atmos. The OnePlus 7 further gets 48-megapixel primary shooter, UFS 3.0 storage and Fast Charge.
On the other hand, OnePlus 7 pro features 6.7-inch Fluid AMOLED screen with curved edges, triple cameras at the back, a pop-up selfie camera and high-end hardware on the inside.
