Xiaomi’s sub brand Redmi to launch its upcoming flagship handset Redmi Note 9 in the Indian market. The Chinese smartphone maker to launch Redmi Note 9 on March 12, as hinted in the recent tweets.

On the official Twitter handle of Redmi India, Xiaomi India wrote, ''Brace yourselves for the biggest #Redmi product launch of 2020! #ProCamerasMaxPerformance is going to be nothing like you have ever seen before! A new #RedmiNote is coming on 12th March!’’

Talking about the specifications of the upcoming handset, Xiaomi has revealed some of its specifications on the official website. As per the website, the Redmi Note 9 will sport a quad rear camera setup, some changes in design than its predecessor along with processor and gaming features.

It is also expected to come with a fast-charging feature and may be priced around Rs 20,000 which is similar to its previous version of smartphones. Recently, Redmi 8A Dual went on sale in the Indian market. The handset comes with a 6.22-inch HD+ display, dual rear camera setup, and a 5,000mAh battery, among others.

Redmi 8A Dual, the upgrade of Redmi 8A, sports an “Aura X Grip” design that brings a mesh texture at the back panel and comes along with P2i nano-coating. The smartphone comes preloaded with VoLTE and VoWiFi support.

The price for the 2GB RAM + 32GB storage variant of Redmi 8A Dual in India has been set at Rs 6,499. Whereas, the 3GB RAM + 32GB storage option of Redmi 8A Dual costs Rs 6,999. The smartphone comes in Midnight Grey, Sea Blue, and Sky White colour options.
