Right from Galaxy A 10s to Galaxy A 50s, Samsung has been aggressively adding smartphones to its 'Galaxy A' series. Well, the smartphone maker has added yet another smartphone to its Galaxy A lineup in the form of Galaxy A70s. Yes, you read it right. Samsung Galaxy A70s, which is the company's first smartphone with a 64-megapixel primary camera, has marked its global debut in India on Friday. The key features on Samsung Galaxy A70s include Infinity-U display, octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 SoC, triple rear camera setup, 32-megapixel selfie camera, 4,500mAh battery, and an in-display fingerprint sensor, among others.It is worth mentioning here that Samsung Galaxy A70s shares a majority of its specifications with Samsung Galaxy A70.
Samsung Galaxy A70s: Specifications
Samsung Galaxy A70s sports a 6.7-inch full-HD+ (1080x2400 pixels) Super AMOLED display with 20:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone supports dual-SIM (Nano) technology and it runs on Android 9 Pie with One UI on top.
Samsung Galaxy A70s is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 SoC and it is paired with up to or 8GB of RAM. Additionally, the smartphone gets 128GB of onboard storage which can be expanded up to 512GB by a microSD card slot.
On the imaging front, Samsung Galaxy A70s comes equipped with a triple rear camera setup that houses a 64-megapixel f/1.8 primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle shooter and a 5-megapixel camera. Also, there is a 32-megapixel f/2.0 selfie shooter on the front.
The device packs a 4,500mAh battery with 25W fast charging. Additionally, the Samsung Galaxy A70s comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor.
Samsung Galaxy A70s: Price, Availability & Sale Offers
The price for the base 6GB + 128GB variant of Samsung Galaxy A70s has been set at Rs 28,999. On the other hand, the 8GB + 128GB model of Samsung Galaxy A70s costs Rs 30,999.
The smartphone has gone on sale in India starting today (September 28, 2019) via major e-retailers, major brick-and-mortar stores, Samsung Opera House, and Samsung online store. The smartphone is offered in Prism Crush Red, Prism Crush Black, and Prism Crush White colours.
As far as the launch offers on Samsung Galaxy A70s are concerned, buyers with a Reliance Jio SIM can avail double data on Rs 198 and Rs 299 recharges (maximum 12 recharges). Whereas, Airtel subscribers can avail double data on Rs 249 and Rs 349 recharges. Also, Vodafone and Idea subscribers can avail cashback of Rs 75 of a recharge of Rs 255 through MyVodafone or MyIdea apps. They will get the cashback on a maximum of 50 recharges.
