Samsung Galaxy A90 5G has finally gone official. It is to be noted that Samsung Galaxy A90 is the first 5G phone in the company's A series. Also, it is the first to support DeX in the lineup. Samsung DeX allows users to connect their phone to a PC monitor or TV to expand the phone's experience to a bigger screen. The key features of the smartphone are Android 9 Pie, triple rear camera setup and Qualcomm's Snapdragon processor.
Samsung Galaxy A90 5G: Design
According to the NDTV’s Gadgets 360, Samsung Galaxy A90 5G comes with an unusual design on the back with gradient finish on the top half and regular colour on the bottom half in the White variant and the opposite in the Black version. Also, there are different coloured stripes running on the side of the smartphone.
Samsung Galaxy A90 5G: Specifications
Samsung Galaxy A90 5G features a 6.7-inch full-HD+ (1080x2400 pixels) Super AMOLED display with a waterdrop-style notch on top and an in-display fingerprint sensor. It runs on Android 9 Pie with One UI on top. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 855 SoC, coupled with up to 8GB of RAM.
On the imagining front, Samsung Galaxy A90 5G sports a triple rear camera setup. It includes a 48-megapixel f/2.0 main shooter, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. On the front, the smartphone has a 32-megapixel selfie shooter for selfies.
Samsung Galaxy A90 5G packs a 4,500mAh battery on board with support for 25W fast charging. The smartphone also packs 128GB of inbuilt storage with a microSD card slot (up to 512GB). The microSD card slot will only be available on the 6GB RAM variant, not on the 8GB RAM model. The device measures 164.8x76.4x8.4mm and it weighs 206 grams.
Samsung Galaxy S90 5G: Price
Samsung Galaxy A90 5G costs KRW 900,000 (roughly Rs. 53,100) in the company's home market where it goes has already begun. Overall, Samsung Galaxy S90 is the company's third 5G phone in South Korea after Samsung Galaxy S10 and Galaxy Note 10. However, the availability of Samsung Galaxy S90 5G in the Indian market is yet to be known.
