Samsung Galaxy M30s and M10s were launched in India recently. It is to be noted that both the smartphones are updated versions of two existing Galaxy M-series phones. The key features on the Galaxy M30s include a massive 6,000mAh battery and 48MP triple camera setup. On the other hand, the Galaxy M10s also houses a dual camera setup, rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and a bigger 4,000mAh battery. Both the newly-launched smartphones will be made available for sale via Amazon and Samsung.com on September 29, 2019.
Samsung Galaxy M30s & M10s: Price & Availability
The price for the base variant with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of Galaxy M30s has been set at Rs 13,999. The 6GB + 128GB storage variant is priced at Rs 16,999. The M30s will be made available in three colours i.e. Opal Black, Sapphire Blue and Pearl White.
Whereas, Samsung Galaxy M10s is priced at Rs 8,999 for the 3GB + 32GB storage configuration. However, no other variant for the M10s has been announced as of now. The M10s will be made available in Stone Blue and Piano Black colours.
Samsung Galaxy M30s & M10s: Specifications
Samsung Galaxy M30s sports a 6.4-inch FHD+ Infinity-U Super AMOLED display with a screen-to-body ratio higher than 91 percent and a peak brightness of 420 nits. It also comes with Widevine L1 certification for HD streaming on platforms like Netflix and Prime Video.
Samsung Galaxy M30s is powered by the Exynos 9611 octa-core processor and it is paired with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Samsung Galaxy M30s ships with One UI based on Android 9 Pie. It supports storage expandability via microSD card (up to 512GB).
On the imaging front, Samsung Galaxy M30s comes equipped with a triple rear camera setup that houses a 48-megapixel primary sensor with an f/2.0 aperture, assisted by a 5-megapixel depth camera, and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with a 123-degree field of view. Also, there is 16-megapixel selfie camera on the front.
The phone's storage is expandable via a microSD card (up to 512GB). Samsung Galaxy M30s packs a 6,000mAh battery with support for 15W charging. The M30s measures 8.9mm in thickness and weighs under 190 grams.
On the other hand, Samsung Galaxy M10s features a 6.40-inch HD+ (720 x 1520 pixels) Infinity-V Super AMOLED display. The smartphone is powered by the octa-core Exynos 7884B processor clocked at 1.6GHz, paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The internal storage is expandable via microSD card (up to 512GB).
As far as the optics on the phone is concerned, Samsung Galaxy M10s comes equipped with a dual camera setup that houses a 13-megapixel primary rear camera with an f/1.9 aperture assisted by a 5-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with a 120-degrees field of view.On the front, the smartphone has an 8-megapixel snapper.
The Galaxy M10s features a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor for authentication and comes equipped with a 4,000mAh battery with support for 15W fast charging.
