Samsung Galaxy M30s, the updated version of existing Galaxy M-series phone, was launched in India on Wednesday. The key features on Samsung Galaxy M30s include a 6.4-inch FHD+ Infinity-U Super AMOLED display, octa-core processor and a triple rear camera setup. In the Indian market, Samsung Galaxy M30s is up against Realme 5 Pro and Vivo Z1 Pro. Samsung Galaxy M30s 

Samsung Galaxy M30s sports a 6.4-inch FHD+ Infinity-U Super AMOLED display with a screen-to-body ratio higher than 91 percent and a peak brightness of 420 nits. It also comes with Widevine L1 certification for HD streaming on platforms like Netflix and Prime Video. 

Samsung Galaxy M30s is powered by the Exynos 9611 octa-core processor and it is paired with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Samsung Galaxy M30s ships with One UI based on Android 9 Pie. It supports storage expandability via microSD card (up to 512GB). 

On the imaging front, Samsung Galaxy M30s comes equipped with a triple rear camera setup that houses a 48-megapixel primary sensor with an f/2.0 aperture, assisted by a 5-megapixel depth camera, and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with a 123-degree field of view. Also, there is 16-megapixel selfie camera on the front.  

The phone's storage is expandable via a microSD card (up to 512GB). Samsung Galaxy M30s packs a 6,000mAh battery with support for 15W charging. The M30s measures 8.9mm in thickness and weighs under 190 grams.  The price for the base variant with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of Galaxy M30s has been set at Rs 13,999. The 6GB + 128GB storage variant is priced at Rs 16,999.  

The M30s will be made available in three colours i.e. Opal Black, Sapphire Blue and Pearl White. Samsung Galaxy M30s will be available on Amazon India and Samsung's e-store from September 29. 

Realme 5 Pro 

Realme 5 Pro sports a 6.3-inch full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3+ for protection. Realme 5 Pro, which has dual-SIM (Nano), runs Color OS 6.0 based on Android 9 Pie. Realme 5 Pro is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 SoC, paired with up to 8GB of RAM. 

On the imagining front, Realme 5 Pro sports a quad rear camera setup with a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 primary sensor. It is accompanied by an 8-megapixel sensor, a 2-megapixel macro lens and a 2-megapixel portrait lens. Also, there is an electronic image stabilisation (EIS) tech included. On the front, Realme 5 Pro houses a 16-megapixel selfie camera. 

Connectivity options on the Realme 5 Pro include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, a GPS/ A-GPS, a3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port. Sensors on board include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, a magnetometer and a proximity sensor. 

It comes in 64GB and 128GB inbuilt storage options, expandable via microSD card (up to 256GB). Realme 5 Pro packs a 4,035mAh capable of VOOC 3.0 fast charging tech. 

The device measures 157x74.2x8.9mm and it weighs 184 grams. A fingerprint sensor is also available on the rear panel.The 4GB + 64GB variant of Realme 5 Pro costs Rs 13,999. The price of 6GB + 64GB and 8GB + 128GB variants of Realme 5 Pro has been set at Rs 14,999 and Rs 16,999, respectively. 

The smartphone is available in Crystal Green and Sparkling Blue colours. 

Vivo Z1 Pro 

Vivo Z1 Pro is the first smartphone to be powered with octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 SoC in India. The new SoC is based on 10nm manufacturing process and includes eight Kryo 360 CPU cores clocked at up to 2.3GHz and Adreno 616 GPU. It also include Center Turbo, AI Turbo, Net Turbo, Cooling Turbo and Game Turbo features with an aim to improve the gaming performance.  

The smartphone will be housing a 32-megapixel in-display (company speak for hole-punch) selfie camera and a triple rear camera setup with LED flash. It will further pack a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support as well as a rear fingerprint sensor. 

Vivo Z1 is offered in three storage variants - 4GB + 64GB, 6GB + 64GB, and 6GB + 128GB. The prices for 6GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB variants are Rs 16,990 and Rs 17,990 respectively. 

The smartphone is already available for sale. The smartphone is offered in three colours i.e. Sonic Blue, Mirror Black and Sonic Black.
