Samsung Galaxy Z Flip, the recently-launched foldable phone, went out of stock within minutes during its first pre-orders sale in India on Friday. Yes, you read it right. Samsung India's online store and the retail outlets have run out of stock. The deliveries of the foldable phone for pre-order customers will begin from February 26. The key features on the smartphone maker’s second foldable phone include Infinity Flex Display, dual rear camera setup, and a 3,300mAh battery, among others. Samsung Galaxy Z Flip features an Infinity Flex Display that bends from the middle of the screen to provide the clamshell form factor. The Flex Mode in Samsung’s second foldable device lets you use two apps in split-screen mode when the phone is partially bent. The Galaxy Z Flip also has a small secondary cover screen for notifications.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip: Price & Colour Availability

The Price for the lone 8GB + 256GB model variant of Samsung Galaxy Z Flip in India has been set at Rs 1,09,999. The company’s second foldable phone comes in Mirror Black, Mirror Purple, Mirror Gold colour options.

It is worth mentioning here that Samsung Galaxy Z Flip in the US costs $1,380 (approx. Rs 98,400).

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip: Specifications & Features

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip packs a foldable 6.7-inch full-HD (1080x2636 pixels) Dynamic AMOLED Infinity Flex display with a 21.9:9 aspect ratio and 425ppi pixel density. Also, there is a secondary 1.1-inch (112x300 pixels) Super AMOLED display with 303ppi pixel density.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip supports dual-SIM (Nano + eSIM) technology and runs on Android 10 with a tweaked version of OneUI. Under the hood, the foldable phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ SoC, paired with 8GB of RAM. The phone offers an internal storage of 256GB. However, there’s no option to expand the storage further with a microSD card.

On the imaging front, Samsung Galaxy Z Flip comes equipped with a dual-camera setup that houses a 12-megapixel wide-angle sensor and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle shooter. On the front, there is a 10-megapixel camera for selfies.

Connectivity options on the foldable phone include Bluetooth v5.0, 4G LTE, USB Type-C, NFC, MST, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, and GPS (A-GPS). The fingerprint sensor is situated on the side of the phone. The device packs a 3,300mAh battery with fast charging support, and has a single mono speaker. Samsung Galaxy Z Flip measures 87.4x73.6x17.33mm when folded, and 167.3x73.6x7.2mm when unfolded. The device weighs 183 grams.
