Vivo S5 has recently gone official in China. The key features on the smartphone include a punch-hole display design, in-display fingerprint sensor, Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 SoC, and a quad-camera setup, among others. The availability of Vivo S5 in India is yet to be revealed. However, after Vivo S5 makes way to the Indian market, it will compete against Redmi K20 Pro and Oppo Reno 2Z. Vivo S5

Vivo S5 sports a 6.44-inch full-HD+ (1080x2400) Super AMOLED display with 20:9 aspect ratio and up to 1200 nits of brightness. The smartphone supports dual-SIM (Nano) connectivity and runs Android 9 Pie with Funtouch OS 9.2. Under the hood, the device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 SoC, paired with 8GB of RAM.

On the imaging front, Vivo S5 comes equipped with a diamond-shaped camera setup that houses four distinct sensors. The quad-camera setup includes a 48-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.79 lens and an 8-megapixel secondary sensor with an ultra-wide-angle f/2.2 lens that has 120-degree of a field of view (FoV). Further, the phone has a 2-megapixel sensor with an f/2.4 macro lens and a 5-megapixel depth sensor with an f/2.48 lens. On the front, there is a 32-megapixel sensor along with an f/2.45 lens.

The smartphone comes with 128GB and 256GB of onboard storage options. Connectivity options on the phone include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Sensors on the phone include an accelerometer, ambient light, gyroscope, magnetometer, and proximity sensor.

It packs a 4,100mAh battery that supports 22.5W Flash Charge fast charging technology. Vivo S5 measures 157.90x73.92x8.64mm and weighs 188 grams.

Redmi K20 Pro

Redmi K20 Pro comes with a 6.39-inch Full HD display with a 19:5:9 aspect ratio with no notch present on the screen. The Redmi K20 Pro is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 while the Pro variant runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 855.

Redmi K20 Pro is equipped with a triple camera setup at the back with one being a 48 MP Sony IMX586 sensor coupled with 13 MP and 8 MP camera lens. For selfies, the smartphones will have a 20 MP pop-out camera with AI technology.

Redmi K20 Pro is fuelled by a 4000mAh battery with fast-charging technology. The 6GB RAM and 128GB storage version of Redmi K20 Pro costs Rs 27,999. The 8GB RAM and 256GB storage version i.e. top variant of Redmi K20 Pro is available at Rs 30,999. The smartphone comes in Carbon Black, Flame Red, and Glacier Blue colour options.

Oppo Reno 2Z

Oppo Reno 2Z features a 6.53-inch (1,080 x 2,340 pixels) AMOLED display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio, a screen-to-body ratio of 91.6 percent. It comes with a Gorilla Glass 5 curved rear panel with a quad-camera setup hidden beneath.

The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Helio P90 SoC paired with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.1 inbuilt storage.

On the imaging front, Oppo Reno 2Z houses a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor, an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens, a 2-megapixel monochrome sensor. The device further has a centrally-aligned 16-megapixel pop-up selfie camera.

Oppo Reno 2Z packs a 4,000mAh battery that supports VOOC 3.0 Flash Charge tech. The phone also features an in-display fingerprint sensor in addition to face unlock.

The price of Oppo Reno 2Z, 8GB of RAM and 256GB of inbuilt storage, has been set at Rs 29,990 and it has gone on sale starting September 6. The Oppo Reno 2Z is available in Luminous Black, Sky White, and Polar Light shades.
