Vivo V17 was recently launched in India. The key features on the smartphone include a hole-punch display design, an L-shaped quad rear camera setup, an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 SoC, among others. Vivo V17
Vivo V17 features a 6.44-inch full-HD+ (1080x2400 pixels) E3 Super AMOLED iView Display that has 20:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone supports dual-SIM (Nano) technology and Android 9 Pie with Funtouch OS 9.2. The device is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 SoC, paired with 8GB of RAM.
On the imaging front, Vivo V17 comes equipped with an L-shaped quad rear camera setup that houses a 48-megapixel primary sensor that has an f/1.8 lens on top. The rear camera setup further includes 8-megapixel secondary sensor with an f/2.2 lens, 2-megapixel tertiary sensor with an f/2.4 lens for bokeh effect, and a 2-megapixel quaternary sensor with an f/2.4 macro lens. On the front, there is a 32-megapixel selfie camera that is backed by an f/2.45 lens.
Vivo V17 has 128GB of onboard storage. Connectivity options on the phone include 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/A-GPS, and a USB Type-C port. The device also has an in-display fingerprint sensor. It packs a 4,500mAh battery.
The smartphone also comes preloaded with features such as a Multi-Turbo mode, Voice Changer, and AR Stickers.
The price for Vivo V17 in India has been set at Rs 22,990 for the lone 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. The smartphone comes in Midnight Ocean (Black) and Glacier Ice (White) colour options. It will go on sale in India starting December 17 via Amazon, Flipkart, and the official Vivo India e-store.
Redmi Note 8 Pro
Redmi Note 8 Pro sports a 6.53-inch full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) screen with 19.5:9 aspect ratio, waterdrop-style notch and Gorilla Glass 5 on both front and back. The dual-SIM (Nano) Redmi Note 8 Pro runs on MIUI 10, based on Android 9 Pie.
The smartphone is powered by MediaTek's new gaming focussed Helio G90T SoC, paired with up to 8GB of RAM. The phone comes with liquid cooling support for the enhanced gaming experience. There are also features such as the Game Turbo 2.0 mode to please mobile gamers.
On the imaging front, Redmi Note 8 Pro sports four cameras at the back. It is the first smartphone to have a 64-megapixel main camera. The primary sensor is joined by the 8-megapixel wide-angle shooter and two 2-megapixel cameras. On the front, the smartphone houses the 20-megapixel selfie camera.
Connectivity options on the phone include Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, IR blaster, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. There are sensors such as an accelerometer, ambient light, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and a magnetometer. The smartphone also comes with a rear-facing fingerprint sensor. Redmi Note 8 Pro packs a 4,500mAh battery with support of 18W fast charging. The phone measures 161.7x76.4x8.81mm and weighs 200 grams.
The price for the 6GB RAM + 64GB storage variant of Redmi Note 8 Pro in India has been set at Rs 14,999. While its 6GB RAM + 128GB storage option costs Rs 15,999, the top-of-the-line 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model carries a price tag of Rs 17,999.

The smartphone comes in Gamma Green, Halo White, Electric Blue Colour, and Shadow Black colour options. It is available for sale via Amazon India, Mi.com, and Mi Home stores.
