Xiaomi’s latest Android One smartphone named as Mi A3 was launched in India on Wednesday. The Mi A3 is all set to go on sale in India from Friday (today). Yes, you read it right. Xiaomi Mi A3 will go on sale via Amazon.in, Mi.com, and Mi Home stores. The key features on the Xiaomi Mi A3 include a waterdrop-style notch, triple rear camera setup, Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC and an in-display fingerprint scanner.
Xiaomi Mi A3: Price & sale offers
The 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant of Xiaomi Mi A3 costs Rs 12,999. The price of 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant of Xiaomi Mi A3 has been set at Rs 15,999. The smartphone will go on sale via Amazon India, Mi.com and Mi Home stores from 12pm (IST) today. Both the variant of the smartphone will be made available in Not Just Blue, More Than White and Kind of Gray colour options.
As far as the sale offers for Mi A3 are concerned, buyers will get Rs 750 cashback on HDFC Bank credit cards, with an additional Rs 250 on EMI transactions, for the first few weeks. A double data and unlimited calling from Airtel was also announced, with the Rs 249 recharge.
Mi A3: Specifications
Xiaomi Mi A3 comes equipped with a waterdrop-style notched display design, Gorilla Glass 5 protection and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Xiaomi Mi A3 features a 6.08-inch HD+ (720x1560 pixels) Super AMOLED display. It comes equipped with stock Android 9 Pie operating system. Xiaomi Mi A3 is a downgrade from FHD+. However, the phone gets an AMOLED panel instead of LCD which allows for an in-display fingerprint sensor.
Under the hood, Xiaomi Mi A3 is powered by the Snapdragon 665 chipset. The device comes with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage and Adreno 610 GPU. The internal storage is expandable via microSD card.
On the imagining front, the Mi A3 has the triple rear camera setup that has a 48-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.79 lens, 8-megapixel secondary sensor with a 118-degree wide-angle f/1.79 lens, and a 2-megapixel tertiary sensor for depth sensing. The smartphone also has the 32-megapixel selfie camera at the front with an f/2.0 lens.
Connectivity options on the newly-launched smartphone include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Besides, the phone packs a 4,030mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging and it measures 153.48x71.85x8.5mm.
It is worth mentioning here that the smartphone was launched in Spain last month.
