Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi launched the premium Redmi Note 7 alongside the Redmi Note 7 Pro on February 28. Xiaomi claims to have sold over 2 lakh units of the Redmi Note 7 in its first sale. "We had produced 200K+ units till this week, all of which went out of stock in just a few mins yesterday. We are working with our factories to further increase production. Bigger volume for #RedmiNote7 & #48MP #RedmiNote7Pro going on sale next week on March 13 (sic)," Xiaomi’s Global VP and MD of Xiaomi India Tweeted. The Redmi Note 7 also comes with a Snapdragon 660 SoC and a waterdrop-style display notch.

Redmi Note 7 buyers can avail offers from Airtel and Reliance Jio. Airtel is offering up to 1,120GB data with unlimited calling as well as free access to Airtel TV premium, App advisor, Spam Block, and Contacts Backup. Reliance Jio customers, will be able to avail a double data offer with recharges of Rs 198 and above.
Redmi Note 7 Price
The Redmi Note 7 price in India has been set at Rs. 9,999 for the 3GB RAM and 32GB storage variant, while its 4GB RAM and 64GB model is priced at Rs. 11,999.

Redmi Note 7 comes with a larger 6.3-inch full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) LTPS display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio, Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It also has a 2.5D curved glass protection. The smartphone features a waterdrop-shaped notch, a slight chin at the bottom of the display. The smartphone measures at 159.21x75.21x8.1mm and weighs 186 grams. There is also a fingerprint sensor at the back.
The Redmi Note 7 has 32GB and 64GB of onboard storage variants that both support microSD card (up to 256GB). It packs a 4,000mAh battery that supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 4.
Redmi Note 7 camera includes 12-megapixel along with 2-megapixel AI camera and there is a 13-megapixel AI selfie camera. The phone comes in Onyx Black, Ruby Red, and Sapphire Blue colour options.
