Senior BJP leader and former finance minister Arun Jaitley on Friday was admitted to AIIMS. According to the latest report, Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan has reached AIIMS. Jaitley is under observation in AIIMS's cardiology department. Arun Jaitley is being monitored by a team of endocrinologist, nephrologist and cardiologist. He has been unwell for the last two years. Last year, Arun Jaitley underwent a kidney transplant, following which he was put under isolation. Arun Jaitley served as the finance minister in the Narendra Modi government's first term in office.
