Arun Jaitley, former Union finance minister and a BJP stalwart passed away at Delhi’s All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) on Saturday. He was 66. Senior BJP leader Murli Manohar Joshi condoled the death of Jaitley saying he made a contribution in policies of the nation. “When Jaitley was a Commerce Minister, he fought to protect India’s interest at global forums. When NDA government was formed, he held two important portfolios- Defence and Finance,” he added.
