BIMSTEC: five out of seven countries conduct joint military exercise in Pune

Military from five of the seven BIMSTEC countries conducted a joint military exercise at Aundh military station in Pune on Friday. The five countries include India, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Myanmar, and Sri Lanka. The remaining two countries, Thailand and Nepal, have sent teams of observers for the exercise, the focus of which is counter-terrorism operations in a semi-urban environment.
