Cyclone Ockhi: Coastal Tamil Nadu and Kearala worst hit, rescue operations underway

Cyclone Ochkhi is creating havoc in various places of coastal Tamil Nadu and Kerala. The triad of Indian Navy, Air Force and Coast guard are engaged in rescue operations. The fishermen are being rescued and moved to other safer places. The turbulent waves of the Indian ocean doesn't seem to calm down any-time soon. Around 2400 fishermen have been saved by the Coast Guard alone. 31 rescue camps have been set up at Lakshwadeep where around 1000 people have taken shelter.
