Dense fog envelopes Delhi

Dense fog engulfed the capital on Friday as temperatures plummeted to 11 degrees celsius. The visibility at the airport slumped below 100 metres. The visibility at the IGI (Indira Gandhi International Airport) Runways 27, 28, 29 was between 75-100 metres at 7 am, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD) website.
