Green Diwali: Delhi air quality severe ahead of festival

In order to curb an alarming air quality in Delhi, recently the Supreme Court has ruled only environment-friendly crackers that emits lesser smokes can be sold in the national capital. In a meeting held on Thursday, Delhi Police Commissioner Amulya Patnaik directed all DCPs to ensure that the Supreme Court guidelines are implemented fully.
