Arun Jaitley, former Union finance minister and a BJP stalwart, passed away at Delhi’s All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) on Saturday. He was 66. Jaitley was admitted on August 9 after he complained of breathlessness and restlessness. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari condoled his death saying may God grant him eternal peace. “I have been witnessed of his rise. He was an eloquent orator. I used to take his advice when I was president of BJP,” he added.
