Speaking on the violence that took place in JNU campus on Sunday night, BJP leader Giriraj Singh said, “Left students are defaming Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), they have turned the University into a centre of hooliganism.” The BJP leader also blamed Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and left leaders for the violence in the JNU campus.
