Manohar Parrikar was a very humble person: Yashwant Sinha

Speaking to News Nation, former Union minister Yashwant Sinha said that person like Manohar Parrikar should have lived long and it would have been in the interest of the nation. Recalling his long association with Parrikar, former finance minister hailed former Goa CM saying he never believed in show-off and lived very simple life which is rare in Indian politics. The last rites of Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar will be performed at Miramar on Monday evening. Parrikar, 63, died at his private residence at Dona Paula near Panaji on Sunday after a prolonged illness.
