Maharashtra Tourism Minister Aaditya Thackeray’s dream project, Mumbai Nightlife, has finally taken shape. Malls, shopping complexes in commercial areas, gated communities and mill compounds will be allowed to remain open 24x7 if they wish to. The move is set to boost Mumbai tourism, besides honouring the city’s culture and taking a step towards making it a global city. The new policy will come into effect from January 26, 2020.
