NIA raids madrasa in UP’s Banda, investigates students

National Investigation Agency (NIA) raided Hathori Madrasa, a renowned one in Uttar Pradesh’s Banda district on Thursday. The team started its interrogation questioning over 50 students and also the teachers, and searched the premises. The investigating agency searched for documents related to Asif, an arrest in Kashmir for supporting terror outfit. The NIA recovered his phone number. It also confiscated several documents from official records when Asif studied in Hathori madrasa two years ago.
