NN Special: Heavy rain caused flood-like situation in many cities

Inclement weather wreaked havoc in several states across the country on Monday. While Himalayan states of Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh were badly hit by the incidents of cloudburst and heavy landslide, incessant rains continued to disrupt normal life in Gujarat and Mumbai.In Gujarat, several low-lying areas inundated after heavy downpour for the last few days. While water entered some houses in Navsari, roads in the state turned to rivers, throwing normal life out of gear.
