Rains lashed large parts of Delhi-NCR, including Noida, on Monday, bringing down the maximum temperatures below normal limits in most places. The national capital received a heavy downpour in the afternoon after more than a week. The maximum temperature here dropped by two notches to settle at 33 degrees Celsius. Despite cloud formation over the region, the area has witnessed a dry spell.
