Super 50: China backs Pakistan over Modi's 'terror export factory' remarks

Super 50: China on Friday put up a staunch defence of its all-weather ally Pakistan after Prime Minister Narendra Modi described the neighbouring country as a “terror export factory”, just a day before External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj’s China visit. Swaraj will be arriving on Saturday to attend the meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation to be held on April 24. She will meet her Chinese counterpart Wang Yi on Sunday. "Terrorism is the enemy faced by all. The international community should work together to fight against it," foreign ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying said during a media briefing when asked about China's response to Modi terming Pakistan as a "terror export factory" during a speech in London.
