The Supreme Court dismissed the plea filed by Nirbhaya convict Mukesh Singh over the rejection of his mercy petition by President Ram Nath Kovind on Wednesday. Nirbhaya’s mother said she strongly believes that justice will be served. “They (convicts’ advocates) are mean people. They are responsible for assault against women,” Nirbhaya’s father said.
